As part of the fundraising effort for the New PEC Hospital Build campaign, Wellington Rotary partnered with two supporting local wineries. to produce a Rotary White and a Rotary Red wine. All together, we were able to raise over $28,000 for the cause. Thank-you, Lacey Estates and Domaine Darius !!
In Fall 2018, Rotarians gathered to pick Vidal and Riesling grapes for the white wine. We also picked Marquette and Petite Pearl grapes for the red wine. The Vidal, Riesling, and Marquette were donated by Brian & Lyn McGowan of HolyHill Vineyards.
By Spring 2019, we were able to produce the white wine from Lacey Estates, which sold for $22/bottle.
By Spring 2020, the red wine, Rotary Cuvee, was ready from Domaine Darius. It sold for $40/bottle.
