Last Week: President's Address
Meeting was called to order at 7:02(!) - because Ken had to take his grandson somewhere at 8:30.
President Ken congratulated the members on a wonderful effort for Canada Day. Special shout-out for Bill and Christine.
The RibFest was a huge success. Accolades to the members who prepped the ribs. Several community members said they were the best ribs they had ever had,
Ken's plan going-forward is it to not make many changes but to continue to build on our success.
Re Toast to the queen, Ken requested a show of hands - 9 supported keeping it, 10 supported getting rid of it. Too close to call, so we will keep it.
Ken stressed that everyone needs to participate in helping at the Bottle Depot.
Ken asked Howard to put together a proposal for a 20th Anniversary Committee.
Chris C suggested a "Call a Friend" program, targeted at recruiting new members from among friends of members.
Ken stressed that he intends to respect the history of the club and the charter members and apologized in advance if he offends anyone. But he says he is a do-er and has a tendency to want to push forward.

Four Way Test
Of the things we think, say, and do:
1. Is it the TRUTH?
2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3. Will it build GOODWILL and better
FRIENDSHIPS?
4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all
concerned?

Rotary Song
R-O-T-A-R-Y, that spells Rotary.
R-O-T-A-R-Y, is known on land and sea.
From north to south, and east to west,
They profit most who serve the best,
R-O-T-A-R-Y, that spells Rotary.
