President's Message

My thanks to Dave Robinet for laying out the details of this year’s Board election. During a “normal” year, we try to wrap up the elections by the end of November. Also, Dave identified that we need to fill the current Board’s President Elect vacancy soon so our District can arrange for their training in February/March 2021. As part of the annual election process, the Club will need another President Elect for the July 1, 2021 Board, with the associated training to happen in February/March 2022.

Annually in November, the Club holds its Anniversary Dinner. Traditionally, the dinner has been hosted by one of our members and it’s been a hugely successful potluck. I am hoping the Club can come up with a plan for this year to recognize our anniversary and have some fun before we enter the cold days of winter. Possibly we could arrange a ZOOM dinner. All suggestions are welcome for a Club meeting discussion.

R-O-T-A-R-Y, that spells Rotary.
R-O-T-A-R-Y, is known on land and sea.
From north to south, and east to west,
They profit most who serve the best,
R-O-T-A-R-Y, that spells Rotary.

Four Way Test
Of the things we think, say, and do:
        1.  Is it the TRUTH?
        2.  Is it FAIR to all concerned?
        3.  Will it build GOODWILL and better
             FRIENDSHIPS?
        4.  Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
