The Magic of Rotary strikes again and again….
The Wellington Rotary Club and Foundation have been hard at work & play in 2023/24! You can get involved through membership or by showing your support for the community, the region and beyond and in so many ways. Let’s see what we did, how we did it, and what we are doing next.
Our fundraising efforts included the following events with the resulting revenue:
Bottle Depot (948,568 bottles and cans processed), Canada Day Ribs, Online Auction, Maple Syrup Sales, Diners & Duffers Booklets, Golf Tournament, Electronic Recycling, and Yard Sale.
Of the $117,100 raised from these activities, The Wellington Rotary donated $103, 514 to the following Initiatives & Organizations:
Family Day Event, Canada Day Parade, Youth Initiatives, Wellness Seminars, Community Appreciation Day, Beach/Trail/Beach Accessibility Mat
Wellington Rotary Foundation wrote cheques to these organizations too!

To date, Wellington Rotary has contributed $590,000 to the Picton Hospital’s, Back the Build Campaign which includes both equipment already being used and yet to come.
What are we doing next? That’s largely up to you! Perhaps you have a community group or initiative that could use some funding to benefit the community/region.
